On-Site Workforce Supervisor – 3rd Shift | Staffing Operations | Muncie, IN

We are seeking a 3rd Shift On-Site Workforce Supervisor to support staffing operations at a client facility in Muncie, IN. This role manages overnight workforce operations, employee relations, and headcount tracking while ensuring smooth communication between employees, client leadership, and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has experience in staffing, manufacturing lead or supervisor, workforce management, employee relations, and VMS systems.

Shift Schedule
Training: 1st Shift (up to 30 days)
Regular Schedule: 3rd Shift – Sunday–Thursday | 7:30 PM – 6:00 AM

Position Overview
The On-Site Workforce Supervisor is responsible for managing overnight staffing operations at a client manufacturing facility. This role focuses on workforce coordination, employee engagement, headcount management, and compliance with safety and HR protocols.

Key Responsibilities
Workforce Management

Manage active employee headcount and workforce coverage to meet operational needs
Monitor attendance and track workforce data using workforce management systems such as UKG
Support workforce planning and employee scheduling

Employee Relations

Serve as the primary on-site contact for employee questions and concerns during overnight operations
Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback
Assist with disciplinary actions and employee terminations while ensuring compliance with HR policies

Client Partnership

Collaborate with client supervisors and operations managers to ensure workforce alignment with production goals
Support strategies that improve employee engagement and retention

Compliance & Documentation

Maintain accurate workforce documentation and reporting
Assist with safety documentation and incident reporting
Ensure compliance with company policies and workplace safety standards

Qualifications
Required

1–3 years of experience in staffing, workforce management, or manufacturing operations
Experience supporting employee relations and workforce coordination
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Experience working with Vendor Management Systems (VMS)
Experience with HRIS or workforce management systems (UKG preferred)
